We operate out of purpose-built underground vaults equipped with the latest security systems.
Our vault was built to Barclays' own banking security specification, and for decades housed the valuables of thousands of their customers. Certified Grade 6 (EN 1143-1).
Our alarms and CCTV are monitored 24/7 and surveillance is directly linked to Shipley police station, located less than a mile away.
Fingerprint registration ensures only registered users can access the vault. Shock sensors, motion detectors and security doors provide additional layers of security internally.
After registration, you come and go on your own; there is no staff escort, by design. Private viewing rooms are available for as long as you need them.
Hardware alone doesn't make a vault safe, procedure does. Registration is done once, in person, with identity documents and fingerprint enrolment. After that you come and go on your own: fingerprint verification at the vault threshold, your own key in your own box, and a private viewing room for as long as you need it.
Records are anonymised, so even a data breach couldn't connect a name to a box. We hold no copy of your box key, so there is no version of events, theft, coercion or error, in which we can open your box without you.
Every box includes £10,000 of complimentary cover as standard, and additional cover is available up to £500,000 through our approved partners. Compare that with home insurance, which typically caps valuables at a few thousand pounds and often excludes bullion entirely.
